Wow!!  The market has certainly changed.  It's been awhile since we've seen anything available for under $100k in the Real Estate Market!  While searching the "Residential Listings"  on MLS today, I came up with 6 listings currently available in Brandon, FL for under $100k as of August 26th, 2007. 

1. $99,900  --  T2264049  This is a 1/1 condo located in Russellwood Condominiums Community in Brandon, FL.  It was built in 1981 with 702 SF heated.  This property has been listed for 17 days.
2. $88,900 -- T2228814  This manufactured home is a 3/2 built in 1986 and is located inside the Alafia Estates Mobile home park off Bloomingdale.  The unit offers 1404 SF heated and has been on the market 191 days.
3. $85,500 -- T2249344   1/1 Condo Unit on the 1st floor with 760 SF heated built in 1981.  It's located in the Oakwood Court Condominium Community. 
4. $82,500 -- T2266366  This manufactured home was JUST LISTED 4 days ago!  2/1 1296 SF heated built in 1972.  This is also located in the Alafia Estates Mobile Home Park located off Bloomingdale.
5. $69,900 -- T2252238  2/1 Mobile Home sold "as is" located in Oak Ridge Terrace.  This home was built in 1970 and has been on the market 75 days.
6. $64,900 -- T2262067  This 2/1 was built in 1968.  It has 720 SF heated and is located in Mobile Riviera and been on the market 27 days.

A husband died, leaving a will that provided $30,000 for an elaborate funeral. As the last of the visitors departed the affair, his wife, Dawn, turned to her oldest friend Karen and said, "Well, I'm sure he would be pleased."

"I'm sure you're right," replied Karen, who then lowered her voice and leaned in close, "How much did this really cost?"

"All of it," said Dawn. "Thirty thousand."

"No!" Karen exclaimed. "I mean, it was very nice, but $30,000?"

Dawn replied, "The funeral was $6,500. I donated $500 to the church. The wake, food and drinks were another $500. The rest went for the Memorial Stone."

Karen computed quickly. "$22,500 for a Memorial Stone?
My Gosh , how big is it?"

"Two and a half carats."
